Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Mavu Studio ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website and purchase our BIM models, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Mavu Studio is a BIM consulting studio that sells BIM shell models, design intent models and related design services. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at mavumium@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information needed to respond to you, deliver our products and run our business:
- Contact & enquiry details — your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number and preferred contact method, submitted through our Client Brief or Contact forms.
- Project information — details you choose to share about your project, such as location, plot size, budget range, style preferences, timeline and required drawings.
- Order & payment information — when you buy a plan, payment is processed by Paddle (see Section 4). We receive confirmation of your order and your billing email, but we never see or store your full card or bank details.
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends automatically (such as device and browser type), and any data generated by hosting and analytics on our platform.
Our on-site design assistant runs in your browser and processes your answers only to guide you and pre-fill the Client Brief form. It does not require an account.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations.
- To deliver the plans and services you purchase, and provide customer support.
- To send transactional messages (for example, order confirmations and download links).
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and spam.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Payment processing (Paddle)
Our order process and payments are handled by our online reseller Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, the information you enter at checkout (such as your name, billing address and payment details) is collected and processed by Paddle under Paddle's Privacy Policy. We recommend you review it. We receive only the order details necessary to fulfil your purchase and provide support.
5. Service providers we share data with
We share limited information with trusted providers who help us operate the website and deliver our services:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Paddle | Payment processing & billing (Merchant of Record) | Name, billing & payment details |
| Resend | Delivering form submissions and emails to us | Name, email, message content |
| Vercel | Website hosting & delivery | Technical/log data |
These providers process your data only on our behalf and are bound to keep it secure. We may also disclose information where required by law.
6. Cookies
Our own site uses minimal cookies and only essential technical storage needed to function. Our payment provider (Paddle) and hosting platform may set cookies required to process payments securely and keep the service running. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data retention
We keep enquiry and project information only as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business records. Order and tax records are retained for as long as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 8).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing; and
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email mavumium@gmail.com. For payment-related data held by Paddle, you can also contact Paddle directly.
9. Data security
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
